Flash Reader FR Privacy Policy

Overview

Flash Reader FR ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This app does not collect your name, email, documents, or payment details. It does send a few anonymous usage events so we can see whether people finish setup, import a document, and open the upgrade screen.

Data Collection

FocusReader does NOT collect:

• Personal information such as your name, email, or Apple ID
• The text, titles, or files you import
• Location data
• Contacts or photos

FocusReader does send anonymous product-interaction events: onboarding finished, first document saved, upgrade screen opened, and upgrade screen closed without a purchase. These events include which screen opened the upgrade sheet. They do not include document contents. A random install identifier is created on your device and hashed before it is sent, so it is not tied to you.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Reading documents (imported EPUBs and text)
• Reading statistics and session history
• App settings and preferences
• Purchase receipts (managed by Apple)

Your documents, statistics, and settings stay on your device. The anonymous usage events described above are sent to TelemetryDeck. We do not operate our own server for them.

In-App Purchases

Flash Reader FR offers a premium upgrade via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchase information is processed and stored by Apple according to their privacy policy. We do not have access to your payment information.

Third-Party Services

Anonymous usage events are processed by TelemetryDeck. The app does not use advertising or tracking.

Children's Privacy

Flash Reader FR does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL.
